Our child development services have been established to assist parents in the responsibility of caring for their preschool and school-age children. We work in conjunction with parents, schools and community organizations. The goal of our Child Development programs is to provide a safe, healthy and nurturing environment that will meet the needs of the individual child to develop physically, emotionally, socially, creatively, cognitively, linguistically and culturally.
For 3 – 5 year olds, please visit us at YMCA Preschool University in Redlands or the San Bernardino Family YMCA Preschool Monday through Friday 6:30 am - 6:30 pm, where we provide a wonderful hands-on learning experience for preschoolers using the High/Scope approach. A healthy breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are provided daily.
Information for school-age children in the Redlands Unified School District and at Baldy Mesa Elementary in the Snowline School District can be obtained at the Childcare Registration office located at Preschool University, 800 E. Lugonia Ave., Suite L, Redlands. Please call (909) 792-0555.
Free and reduced childcare available for qualified families for children ages 3 years through 5th grade.
