YMCA of the East Valley - Policy

The YMCA of the East Valley has several guidelines and policies regarding member benefits. Please check below for specific information.

Guests are welcome at the YMCA. They may visit with a Facility member or when issued a guest pass from one of our Directors. All guests must present valid and current photo identification when entering the facility. Those guests under 18 years of age are required to have a parent/guardian present to allow access into the facility.

Guests are limited to one visit per year. Subsequent visits require membership to the YMCA. Exceptions are made for friends and/or family visiting from out of the local service area for a slightly extended period of time.

Kid's Club YMCA Full Facility Membership includes FREE babysitting services for up to 2 hours, for children ages 8 weeks to 12 years. Parents must check-in/out using a current membership card as well a provide disposable diapers and wipes if needed. The YMCA reserves the right to refuse access due to capacity issues and/or illness of child.

* Monday & Wednesday: 8am-12:30pm, 3pm-8pm
* Tuesday & Thursday: 8am-12pm, 3pm-8:30pm
* Friday: 8am-12:30pm, 4pm-7:30pm
* Saturday: 8am-12pm
* Sunday: Closed

A.W.A.Y The YMCA is part of a national reciprocal membership program called "Always Welcome At YMCAs." If you are visiting another city or area that is outside your YMCA service area and that has a participating YMCA, you may use the YMCA of the East Valley facilities for free or at a reduced rate. Presentation of your current YMCA membership card from your YMCA is required to gain access.

Fitness Center

* Children 12-15 years of age must be supervised at all times while in the fitness center (weight room & aerobics center)
* No children under the age of 12 are allowed on the weight or aerobic equipment at any time
* Proper gym shoes and workout attire is required (no sandals, flip-flops, jeans, etc.)
* No Street clothes (you must change into workout clothes if you intend to use the equipment)

Membership Refunds Membership is non-refundable and non-transferable between YMCAs. For those members who find they are unable to pay for membership because of financial difficulties the YMCA suggests our Financial Assistance program.

Should you wish to cancel a membership and are currently paying via automatic debit you are required to...

* Sign a cancellation form * Provide the required five (5) day notice before your automatic debit date

Should you wish to cancel a membership and have paid for a full year in advance you are required to...

* Sign a cancellation form

Annual memberships will be refunded for the portion of the membership that has not been used.

For example: If you cancel on the start of your 7th month your refund will be half of the original membership price less the joining fee (if applicable). Cancellation forms may be faxed to those members not in the area and can be requested from the front desk staff (909-798-YMCA).

Note: Because there are no contracts there is no cancellation fee or early termination fee when canceling memberships.

Loss Policy The YMCA of the East Valley is not responsible for anything lost or stolen while using any of the branches, facilities, after school sites, and/or while participating in YMCA programs.

Lock boxes are available for your valuables at the Redlands Family YMCA while you are in the facility at no charge. Please check at the front desk for availability and usage. The YMCA highly recommends using a lock should you store anything in the gym lockers.

Pool Policy Standard swim wear only in the indoor and outdoor pool areas. No cut offs or gym clothes are allowed for sanitation and equipment reasons. Everyone must shower prior to entering the indoor pool for health and sanitation reasons as mandated by the State of California Health Department.
