2007-08 President’s Golden Circle
Campaign Goal: $200,000
About the President’s Golden Circle
We kicked off our 18th annual President’s Golden Circle Campaign on Thursday, November 15 at Isabella’s Ristorante. This year we have several new campaigners along with many familiar faces. Donors who make gifts of $1,000 or more to support our youth programs receive special recognition for their generous annual support.
Our goal this year is $200,000. In celebration of the YMCA of the East Valley’s 120th anniversary, we have formed the 1887 Club. Those who pledge an annual gift of $1,887 or more will become members. Please help us make a difference in the life of a child. To find out more, download our brochure.
Who Benefits
As a society, it is in our best interest to invest in the youth of our community. The value of programs that promote and nurture positive attitudes and core values is incalculable. The YMCA is a well-respected leader in youth programming, not just in our local area, but throughout the country. Yet not every family has the resources to pay for the Y’s program and membership fees. Our policy is to turn no one away solely because of their inability to pay. Funds raised through the President’s Golden Circle provide membership and program scholarships for youth who need financial assistance.
What You Can Do
As a non-profit organization, we rely on a dedicated staff, loyal volunteers and generous donors to make this possible. We invite you to become a member of the President’s Golden Circle by making a leadership gift to ensure the children in our
community have a safe haven, wholesome activities and character-building experiences that will help them become the leaders of tomorrow. If you want to become a campaigner, we would be pleased to have you join a truly inspiring group of community leaders who raise money each year.
With your qualifying gift to the President’s Golden Circle, your name will be listed on our donor wall and in our Annual Dinner program. Members of the 1887 Club will receive a custom designed lapel pin signifying their special level of support. To make a gift or pledge in support of youth programs at your YMCA, mail the completed donor card to:
