Raise the barre!

Y Barre is an energetic workout that fuses fitness techniques from dance, Pilates, and strength conditioning to tone and define the whole body. Members will perform traditional ballet barre movements while focusing on developing flexibility and stability.

No dance experience? No problem! Dance experience is not required to enjoy Y Barre. Like our other classes, this group exercise class is open to all bodies and all abilities!

What to Expect:

Get there a little bit early – spaces are limited and you’ll need to sign up at the front desk prior to class!
Ballet-inspired moves that will improve core strength
Exercises that promote better posture
Deep stretches to boost your flexibility
A calorie-burning workout that will feel more like fun than work

What to Bring:

Comfortable clothing that will allow flexibility and movement.
No shoes necessary. Non-slip socks are recommended but not required.
Leave the yoga mat at home – the Y will provide a yoga mat, flexibility ball and hand weights!
