Self-Defense Starts Here
The Highland Y’s self-defense class will equip teens and adults with self defense basics and tactics. During our hands-on course, you’ll learn how to best defend and protect yourself in stressful or dangerous situations.
Offered the fourth Saturday of each month, this program will provide you with awareness, assertiveness, safety strategies, and physical techniques to all you to successful escape, resist or survive an attack. In addition to physical skills, participants will gain psychological awareness and verbal skills.
This class is open to teens and adults!
