Join Us at Camp Edwards This Summer!

Located only 45 minutes from Redlands Family YMCA and a mere two hours from Los Angeles, Camp Edwards offers a traditional camp environment for all in the San Bernardino Mountains. Perfect for children and families, Camp Edwards is a special place where memories of a lifetime are made and life-long friendships are formed.

Camp Edwards staff, volunteers and camp committee strive to maintain the highest standards in providing a quality camping experience for all ages. We are accredited by the American Camp Association and all camp counselors are CPR certified and receive training in first aid and lifesaving.

Grades 1-5

Whether your camper has never been away from home or is on a quest to have a summer of adventure, the Y’s Camp Edwards has a session fit for them.

Our summer camp sessions are based on incoming grade. 

Camp Eddie is the perfect introduction to the great outdoors for our younger campers. This 3-day, 2-night camp introduces kids to Camp Edwards traditions, including the archery range, zip-lining, and canoeing at Jenks Lake. For new campers, we provide many opportunities for rest and relaxation across our beautiful campsite.

Cost: $150 facility member; $180 program member
Dates: June 17 – June 19; June 19 – June 21

For our campers looking for a big adventure, our Pathfinders week is the perfect fit! Geared for students from 2nd to 5th grade, Pathfinders is a 6-day, 5-night camp experience with arts & crafts, canoeing, archery, and more. Although there are adventures to be had, we provide many opportunities for rest and relaxation across our beautiful campsite as well as art and craft activities.

Dates: June 24 – June 29
Cost: $360 facility member; $420 program member

You don’t have to run away to join our Circus. The Great Y Circus™ is a community circus that trains participants to perform out-of-this-world acts. Our Circus camp is perfect for those new to the Y’s Circus program and seasoned performers that want to sharpen their skills.  Circus camp offers many of the camp activities, including rock climbing and canoeing at Jenks Lake.

Dates: July 22 – July 27
Cost: $360 for full facility members; $420 for program members

Please note: Circus Camp is NOT eligible for Add On Experiences/Clubs. 

Add On Clubs:

To unlock additional adventure, we’re offering Clubs to our campers. For a small fee, your camper can enjoy an in-depth experience in one of our age appropriate clubs.

Hiking Club

Our Hiking Club for Camp Eddie campers is a FREE add on experience that features hiking safety lessons and age appropriate hikes.

Swim Club

Those in Swim Club will enjoy additional swimming time as well as basic swim safety and lesson instructions. There is NO fee to participate.

Fishing Club

Fishing Club is perfect for beginners that want to learn fishing basics and best practices.
Cost: $5/per camper

Cooking Club

Cooking Club will introduce campers to healthy eating basics and new recipes they can use at home.
Cost: $5/per camper

Grades 6-9

Adventure awaits for our 6th to 9th graders during our Navigators sessions! If specialty camps are more their thing, we also offer a Great Y Circus Camp available for our circus enthusiasts.

Navigators offers all of the exciting experiences that Camp Edwards has to offer during our 6-day, 5-night camp. Everything from archery to rock climbing will be happening for our adventurous campers. Although there are adventures to be had, we provide many opportunities for rest and relaxation across our beautiful campsite as well as art and craft activities.

Dates: July 8 – July 13; July 15 – July 20
Cost: $360 program member; $420 facility member

Birding Club is perfect for wildlife lovers. Campers will enjoy lessons on local birds and have opportunities to search and identify local birds.

Camp Edwards 137-min

Grades 9-12

High School programs at Camp Edwards are designed to focus on service, teamwork and leadership.

Trailblazer is a NEW program for high school students. Trailblazers will be an exciting week of backpacking in the San Gorgonio wilderness. High schoolers looking for service hours will be able to count their Trailblazers experience towards them as our group performs trail maintenance and stewardship.

The Trailblazers program includes all gear and teaches vital camping and life skills, such as stovetop cooking, environmentalism, and survival skills.

Dates: June 17 – June 22
Cost: $420 for full facility members; $450 for program members

Please note: Trailblazers is NOT eligible for Add On Experiences/Clubs. 

Apply for the LIT program to learn new life skills and obtain leadership experience by completing training in specific content related to camp and facilitating camp programming for students! Can specify in application a focus for the week. Ex: lifeguard in training, archery, canoeing, arts and crafts, etc

Dates: Our LIT program runs in conjunction with all camp sessions.
Cost: $290 for full facility members; $315 for program members

Any interested LIT participant must first apply to the program. Selected LIT campers will be then be given the opportunity to register for their desired camp session.
