Welcome Volunteers!

Every year the Y holds a volunteer-led annual campaign to help raise funds for our scholarship program.

In addition to raising funds, we raise awareness about our services & programs. Every dollar raised through our annual campaign goes to support individuals and families that would not otherwise be able to participate.

PURPOSE OR GOAL
To assure a successful Annual Community Support Campaign, to provide strong leadership to the campaign and lead by example. To demonstrate sound campaign practices by implementing Good Practices and Proven Concepts. Be a leader in an organized effort to raise a minimum of $141, 000 to support youth and families in our communities.

 

As a Campaign Team Member, I commit to do the following:

1. Passionately communicate the need for the campaign and the impact that it makes in our community.
2. Make my personal pace setting lead gift to the campaign when I make my commitment to be part of the campaign.
3. Secure my company’s gift to the campaign (if appropriate).
4. Work towards exceeding a personal fundraising goal of $600.
5. Attend the Campaign Kick-Off, the Campaign Report Meeting and the Campaign Victory event (see calendar).
6. Communicate with the Team Captain throughout the campaign and provide motivation to ensure campaign productivity.
7. Visit at least one YMCA program site with YMCA staff, once a month during this agreement.
8. Encourage, inspire and support the entire volunteer structure.
9. Have fun!
