Meet Mia, one of the Y’s brightest stars! Coming to the San Bernardino Y to find a place for her to put her energy to good use, Mia took as many classes as she possibly could, ranging from hip hop to aquatics. Last year, Mia was one of the recipients of the JC Penney shopping spree on behalf of JC Penney’s work with the Y!

We think the look of joy on her face speaks for itself.

Through the Y’s Financial Assistance program, Mia was able to explore a variety of exciting programs in an environment that was encouraging and supportive.
