HIGHLAND RUN RECAP!

From the first footsteps at the starting line to the final smiles at the finish, the 2026 Highland Run was a celebration of movement, community, and purpose. Runners of all ages and abilities showed up—not just to race, but to be part of something bigger.

Whether tackling the 5K or pushing through the 10K, every stride told a story. Stories of early mornings, personal goals, cheering families, and the shared determination that filled the course. Along the route, encouragement flowed freely—high-fives, laughter, and that unmistakable sense of we’re in this together.

As a YMCA event, the Highland Run is about more than miles. Every step taken helps support YMCA programs that strengthen youth, support families, and create a positive impact across our community.

The photos from race day say it all: joy at the starting line, focus mid-race, and pride as runners crossed the finish. These moments remind us that when our community comes together, we all move forward—stronger, healthier, and more connected.

Thank you to our runners, and volunteers for making the 2026 Highland Run an unforgettable day. We can’t wait to see where the next year takes us.
